Smashed Avocado on Sourdough


  • 2 small ripe avocados
  • 2 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chilli powder
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • Cherry tomatoes, sliced


  1. Peel and de-stone the avocados. Put them into a food processor and blend.
  2. Put the rest of the ingredients into the food processor and blend until it makes a paste.
  3. Toast the sourdough in the grill, 2 minutes each side.
  4. Spread the avocado onto one side of each slice of bread, and cover with the cherry tomato slices

Serves 2
